    i gave that idea 2 points as i need one free left for adding new ideas. we need to force this thing for sure! :)

    at first, yeah you can accidentally kill yourself while driving a car not giving way where you should, etc. accidents happen. is accidental miranda restart so life-threatening?
    secondly, i would add an option in options->popups->classes->updater where user can tick options as "left click to dismiss popup" and "right click to instant restart" or reversely. by default both clicks can be set just to dismiss. this will give the user AN OPTION. that's what we like in miranda, or?

    p.s. i've just found this idea http://miranda-ng.uservoice.com/forums/250387-general/suggestions/6343234-autorestart-for-pluginupdater which is similar, but your link to miranda forum posted in the discussion doesn't give high hopes for users...

    well i did't know about that but i've tried it just now and it's almost OK - I don't like the new confirmation window which pops out after clicking pop-up from updater. Direct restart without asking anything would be great and if you're afraid of BFUs it can be set only for right click action...

    now you get pop-up like "you need to restart miranda to update XY components", so it would be great to close this pop-up and restart miranda in just one click.
