You mean message in history? If you use History++ plugin, you can mark any message as "bookmark". Is that ok for you?
Jabbim.cz now supports XEP-0313 and XEP-0280

Now I think that either configurable mouse button actions or at least option to "automatically restart Miranda on popup click, without messagebox" could be fine.
It makes sense for use with the "silent mode".
Sorting by date doesn't make much sense as all plugins are compiled at same time (and every day for development builds).
But showing list of updated components after update makes sense.
I’d like to have option to let it blink in clist, but not in the tray icon. Is that what you want too?
Which protocol? Maybe existing StopSpam plugin would be helpful for you.
Some initial implementation started…
This is OT, but just to reply:
@DW We have new SkypeWeb protocol, so at least Skype you can use - and it's even better than previous Skype Classic.
Writing plugin for completely new protocol is much more time consuming than just supporting/bugfixing the old ones, that's why we still have working AIM, ICQ, MSN and MRA (as you mentioned).
We don't have enough people (or anyone interested enough) to do it yet. Perhaps no one from developers use Telegram, so they are focusing on other things regarding their priorities...
If you know about any developer out there willing to create a Telegram protocol for Miranda NG, we will gladly welcome him.
Mario, and what's the reason for "escaping Mr. Zuckerberg"? What's wrong with Facebook if it's not security issues?
This is interesting reading about (in)security of Telegram.
"I'd like to keep my Profile in sync on multiple devices. As of now I am doing this manually. There's an interesting feature in Notepad++ that checks for installed cloud sync software and copies its configuration into a folder that is being synced."
You can have located your profile file directly in Dropbox directory. No need for these export/import things.
Of course this will be OPTIONAL feature ;-)
(if it will be implemented at all)
I changed title of request to reduce confusion.
"However, I support the idea with my vote, if this gets customizable like everything in Miranda"
If this will be implemented, I expect it would need to be a completely new plugin (some combination of clist + srmm). But any way it will be optional, of course.
Wishmaster: I don't think that's what he wants. He want's to open a chat window, not to send a message (which is what "message" command does).
He can simulate with "callservice" command, but I'd rather see some on of these solutions:
a) Add new command to cmdline plugin for just opening contact window
b) Add new plugin that will handle more "Miranda links" like mir://opencontact?id=xy . It might be handy also for using on web, similar to skype call links, except this could do more (like open msg window or even search/add contact).
He may write that, but where are located source codes? I see it nowhere on his website. I never saw repository with sources of Whiteboard plugin. If you know where I can download them, tell me. Otherwise you must contact original author to give them to you (and then tell me).
Could you ask author for source code?
It would be possible to simplify FB wall and somehow show it in Miranda, but it would big amount of work (and maintaining it, as I'm not using FB API so everything could change without warning).
I don't have time for that myself, but I'm opened for it if someone will provide patch or help with developing it.
In development builds there is now contact menu item “Load history”. It loads all the messages from server into your Miranda.
It works pretty well already, but I still have some more ideas for improvement.
It's possible to load history of messages directly from website. It would be definitely slower and slighly complicated, but I guess that's the better way.
We will wait until they present a C/C++ library and/or their desktop clients first.
It is somehow planned as one can read there
There has been many improvements recently and group chats work ‘good enoguh’ now.
It still misses “management” features like creating new chat, inviting/removing users, renaming, leaving,… from within Miranda. This should be added in the future.
Please lets discuss this on our forum, http://forum.miranda-ng.org/index.php?topic=192.0
What do you mean by "ability to recognize group chat"? It should receive messages correctly into new group chat.
