Synchronization history for multiple copies of Miranda on different devices
For example, a laptop and a desktop computer - to synchronize the message history. Synchronization via the internet when connected to the network. Local synchronization without doubles.

Would be really nice to have that, at least in form of some file-based or xmpp-based request switch Mirandas on PCs. (Could be done like a script I had in place for some time - Miranda launched on PC B, already running on A, B alerts A to shutdown, waits until the DB is free and then starts). Or implement XEP 0313 and 0280: https://miranda-ng.uservoice.com/forums/250387-general/suggestions/10499262-xmpp-xep-0280-xep-0313-xep-136

IMHO, The solution is to implement XEP-0136 in client. Most servers have support this XEP.

Robert, Dropbox was only an example, while using it's delta sync, it could be working fine, but other cloud storages does no support it - whole file has to be reuploaded/redownloaded.

It isn't working well, especially when you've got slower internet connetion and bigger profile file. You need to always make sure that everything is synched and finally then start Miranda - it isn't usefull at all. Especially when you have get quickly access to IM.

You can have located your profile file directly in Dropbox directory. No need for these export/import things.

Wishmaster, how about storing it on Dropbox? Miranda NG could automatically drop encrypted file in selected Dropbox directory and then another instance could import (and clear) it, also without interaction with user.

Well, and where should we host that history? I don't think we have server ressources to do that.
