Voice and even video conversations over Skype
Skype has become an ugly bloatware, everyone knows. It takes up to 100 MB memory for only chatting, let alone multimedia communication. It would be great if we could use Miranda to have a full functionality with our Skype account. As far as I know, SkypeKit supports this, there are other IM cients that use SkypeKit and are able to perform voice and video calls.
This is not possible as SkypeKit is dead.

There is new SkypeWeb plugin being developed, but I'm not sure whether it will support audio/video conversations. Even the that skype's website (source for plugin) is still in beta and probably doesn't support it (but I haven't tested it).

Yep, Miranda NG could rather use an alternative to Skype. Miranda IM has MirandaComm, but the developer retreated to Linux and there aren't any VOIP/SIP plugins for Miranda NG. I really wish there were.
