WhatsApp-Support over notification API / Relay Android App
As I guess completely supporting WhatsApp natively or also WhatsApp web is really hard, I guess it could be easily done to make an Android-app that uses the notification handling API in order to transmit messages and replies between Miranda NG on the computer and the original WhatsApp-Application for Android. Also for iOS there should be an API I guess. However, if you do it, please do it in a way that the user can connect the relay on phone to PC, not the other way round, in order to enable usage over WAn/Portforwarding and bypass the mobile network limitations, or alternatively power a server of your own. If you need a V-Server I might help, just reply here as I used a trashmail. Another way to get a solution for whatsApp might be yowsup.

Well, at least it sounds manageable for me as a "batch-scribt boy". Just read something about DirectChat, that dev must have managed it somehow, but I am not a programmer.

I can't imagine that this works, as you don't always see the whole message in the notification.

Pentium 3? Really? I am a minimalist myself, but Pentium 3 does not even have SSE2, does it?

WhatsApp in Miranda NG would be a lifesafer for XP-Users with Pentium 3-Nobebooks!
