XEP-0313 is really important for today's use of jabber. That's what happens to me: If I don't always have my smartphone with me (Conversations), I can never be sure that all messages will be displayed in Miranda. This always happens when Miranda is offline and the smartphone is online.

jabber protocol needs that xep 313, pls folks, programmers, authors! its the only thing needed for jabber pretty much. I run it on my phone and PC and i get this on the phone only, so i dont see all msgs on PC.

How much interest would there be to offer crowd-sourced funding for someone who will develop this plugin for us? Something like gofundme.com? (I've never done it but it looks like this project needs a kick start.)

I am a software developer but I have no experience building Miranda plugins, if that is even how one would go about implementing an XEP-0280 solution for Miranda. Does anyone happen to have any info that would shorten my training and development efforts?

Also, can someone please confirm my suspicion that XEP-0313 and XEP-136 are only necessary to be implemented server side?

Please add XEP-0280 support for miranda-ng, as we use jabber on different devices simultaneuosly. On Android yaxim does the work very reliable - but just one way, as miranda is lacking this feature as of now.

Would it be possible to add the carbon copy feature (xep-280) to the miranda-ng client? All of my contacts are desperate in waiting for it.

I have to switch between multiple PCs all the time. Threrefore I had to switch to a different messenger supporting XEP-0280. I'd love to be able to return do miranda...

As for the problem of lack of public server supporting MAM / XEP-0313, me and many of my friends switched to self-hosted Prosody servers.

This feature gives you:
- history sync across devices
- no more lost messages when you had >1 device connected
- conversation archive on server
