Soundpacks
What Miranda, in my opinion, was missing all the time was support for soundpacks. If we could have a preconfigured set of sounds that just needs to be applied or could be changed at any time through Options, this would make it easier to get new sounds in case we get bored with our old sound set. Sometimes, soundpacks creators provided auto-exec files to apply their sets straight away, this was a very rare case though. What is needed in my opinion is standarisation of file names for sounds so that Miranda would always know what sound should be applied…

Web/Android client as remote control of Miranda
It should be like HttpServer component for Foobar2000 ( http://code.google.com/p/foo-httpcontrol/ ). This would allow to "have" Miranda on mobile devices (by remote control of running instance of your desktop) or other operating systems or just from any web browser.
It should have rich api for various tasks (get list of accounts, users, change status, history, messages,...) Similar to cmdline plugin.

Miranda Plugin for a free Dynamic DNS service (example: DynDNS.it)
The old Miranda IM has a DynDNS.org support plugin. Now that DynDNS closed the free accounts, I stopped to use it.
It would be nice to have a new plugin for Miranda NG supporting some other Dynamic DNS service, for example DynDNS.it or any other affordable service that provides a free account, or even a plugin that can be configured for various services, if possible.4 votes -

Miranda generating alternative IRC nicks by it self
It's all nicely explained here:
http://forum.miranda-ng.org/index.php?topic=157.0
Basically, Miranda should, like a various other IRC clients, generate alternative nicks automatically by it self instead of letting users to do it manually. Generating should be based on the main "username" (nick) and adding the numbers on it like: Username1 Username2 etc., or [1]Username, [2]Username etc. Once Miranda picked a generated nick, whole that time it should also check main nick availability. When Miranda notice main nick is free to use, it should pick it back again (all automatically).
This will prevent the problem I have very often now:

Group Chat for Facebook
Add support for Group Chat in Facebook. Current implementation of FB plugin only receives messages from group chat (as if they were send just from the contacts), but does not implement something like a "conference room/chat".
Following functionality would be great:
- ability to recognize and/or establish group chat, with posibility to set its name.
- all comunication made inside the group should stay always inside the group.56 votesThere has been many improvements recently and group chats work ‘good enoguh’ now.
It still misses “management” features like creating new chat, inviting/removing users, renaming, leaving,… from within Miranda. This should be added in the future.

...add an IMAP browser into the YAMN plugin
The idea is to implement an IMAP navigator into the YAMN plugin, as people would be able to display their IMAP folders, browse them, and read their mail. However, it would be read-only, and not intended for sending mail. Only notifies new ones, like it does actually.
